Role Description The Senior Software Engineer role at DnDoops is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the individual will design, develop, and maintain backend services and web applications, with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing code from peers, participating in architectural discussions, and contributing to technical designs. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features end-to-end, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve system reliability. The role also involves mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and helping evolve the company’s engineering standards and tooling.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming, preferably with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in scalable, maintainable codebases.
Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and integrating frontend with backend services.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and mentor other engineers.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
