Role Description The BIM Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Malappuram. The role involves creating, updating, and managing Building Information Models for architectural and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design and technical standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing coordinated 3D models, integrating structural and MEP elements, preparing detailed construction drawings, and supporting clash detection and design conflict resolution. The BIM Modeler collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to maintain model integrity, revise designs based on feedback, and produce documentation needed for execution on site. The role also includes organizing model data, following company BIM standards, and supporting continuous improvement of modeling workflows.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Modeler roles, with experience creating and managing detailed 3D models.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including interpreting and translating design intent into accurate models.
Understanding of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models.
Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools).
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Attention to detail, ability to follow standards, and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
Prior experience in building or infrastructure projects and familiarity with local building codes is an advantage.
