Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dahod. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation rules, and internal policies, and will prepare financial reports and statements for management review. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries with accuracy.
Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, compliance requirements, and statutory filings.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
