Role Description The Water Dispenser Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining water dispensers at client locations, including routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. The engineer will diagnose issues, perform repairs, replace parts, and provide technical support to customers on proper usage and basic upkeep. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to service requests, documenting work completed, maintaining tools and spare parts inventory, and coordinating with the operations team for scheduling and reporting. The role also requires clear communication with customers, adherence to safety and quality standards, and timely resolution of service tickets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in water dispensers.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and independent work at client premises.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain technical issues clearly, provide usage guidance, and document service activities.
Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including responding to queries, guiding customers on basic fixes, and escalating complex issues appropriately.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for routine servicing, part replacement, cleaning, and ensuring equipment reliability.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or ITI in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration trades are beneficial.
Previous experience in water dispensers, home appliances, or similar equipment servicing is an advantage.
Ability to follow safety procedures, read basic technical manuals, and use standard hand tools and testing instruments is required.
Comfort with local travel within Bengaluru and a customer-focused, dependable work ethic are expected.
