Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Gujarat, India. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment across the facility. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting electrical faults, and executing corrective repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves working with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe operation of machinery, adhering to electrical safety standards, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will also support preventive maintenance schedules, assist in upgrades or new installations, and coordinate with supervisors and engineers on technical issues.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe electrical practices.
Hands-on experience in electrical work, including wiring, panel installation, and equipment connections.
Proficiency in maintenance and repair of industrial electrical systems and components.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to industrial environments.
Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings in India is an advantage.
