Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist position based at Global Hospital Trauma Centre in Abu Road. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for trauma, orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical cases. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed physical examinations, delivering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, using electrotherapy and other modalities as appropriate, and monitoring progress to adjust care plans. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital protocols. The Physiotherapist will also support quality improvement initiatives and follow all safety and infection-control guidelines.
Qualifications
Relevant academic qualifications in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized institution).
Valid professional registration or license to practice physiotherapy, as required by local regulatory authorities.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation for trauma, orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative patients.
Ability to use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and electrotherapy modalities safely and effectively.
Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and evidence-based practice in physiotherapy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Competence in maintaining accurate patient records and basic proficiency with clinical documentation systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage a clinical caseload, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
Prior experience in a trauma center or hospital setting is an advantage; new graduates with strong clinical internships may also be considered.
