WORK FROM HOME Content Editor role based in Kolkata.
🎬 DARPAN — VIDEO EDITOR REQUIRED
Darpan is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our content team.
📌 Work Requirements
The editor will be responsible for:
* Editing 3–4 long-form podcasts per month, with each podcast being up to 1 hour.
* Editing 2–3 monologue / short-form videos per week.
* Creating Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts from the edited long-form podcasts
* Selecting the most engaging moments, statements and hooks from podcasts for short-form content
* Basic thumbnail creation/design would be an added advantage
🎯 Skills Required
* Good command of professional video editing
* Understanding of short-form content and social-media editing
* Knowledge of graphics and motion graphics
* Familiarity with AI editing and creative AI tools
* Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and YouTube long-form content
⭐ Preferred
Experience with podcasts, interviews, news/commentary, political content or digital media will be an advantage.
Flexible Working Hours
No Pressure and supportive environment.
Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Premiere P
ro, After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop, Canva or similar software is preferred.
Monthly salary- starting 15k -20k (performance based)
