Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Quality Engineer will oversee product and process quality within the manufacturing environment, including implementing quality standards, performing inspections, and monitoring compliance with internal and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include analyzing test and inspection data, identifying root causes of defects, developing corrective and preventive actions, and supporting continuous improvement projects. The role involves collaborating with production, design, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and met, as well as maintaining documentation for audits and certifications. The Quality Engineer will also participate in internal audits, support customer feedback resolution, and contribute to training on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management to develop, implement, and optimize quality systems and processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to conduct inspections, monitor compliance, and ensure adherence to standards.
Candidates should possess expertise in Product Quality to evaluate product performance, manage nonconformities, and drive improvements in reliability and safety.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) and knowledge of ISO standards or similar quality frameworks are beneficial.
Additional skills including data analysis, root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), statistical process control, and effective communication with cross-functional teams are highly desirable.
Experience in an electrical/electronic or manufacturing environment, familiarity with problem-solving methodologies, and the ability to work on-site in Bengaluru are preferred.
