Accountant

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants with offices at Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Guntur. We are assisting several of our client organisations in filling accounting positions at their offices. The positions are with the client companies and not with the firm.
Position
Mid-level Accountant with a real estate developer at Vijayawada. Package ₹3,00,000 to ₹3,60,000 per annum, for candidates with four to five years of experience.
Responsibilities
• Maintaining books of account on Tally, Zoho, Focus or a comparable accounting package
• Preparing GST invoices and generating e-way bills
• Assisting in monthly GST and TDS compliance, including data compilation for return filing
• Maintaining vendor and customer ledgers and carrying out periodic reconciliations
• Bank reconciliation and maintenance of cash and bank records
• Supporting the statutory and internal audit process with schedules and documentation
• Preparing periodic MIS statements as required by management
Requirements
• Graduate or Post-graduate in Commerce, or semi-qualified CA or CMA or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho, Focus or a similar accounting package
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Understanding of GST fundamentals, including invoicing and e-way bill generation
• Ability to read Telugu and English correspondence is preferred
