Role Description The Junior Interior Documentation Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Shalimar Bagh. The role involves preparing and refining construction drawings, interior layouts, and detailed documentation sets under the guidance of senior designers. Daily tasks include translating design concepts into technical drawings, assisting with space planning, coordinating FF&E schedules, and ensuring consistency across documentation. The designer collaborates with the project team to update drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and client requirements. Responsibilities also include maintaining organized project files, supporting design presentations, and participating in design reviews and site coordination as needed.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Architecture and Interior Design, with the ability to translate design concepts into clear technical documentation.
Proficiency in Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details for interior projects.
Experience or training in Space Planning, with an understanding of circulation, functionality, and ergonomic considerations.
Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), including basic specification, scheduling, and coordination with design intent.
Comfortable with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and standard office productivity tools.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow documentation standards, and openness to feedback and mentorship.
Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or studio experience is an advantage.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
