Role Description The Senior Video Editor role at Affhan Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end video production process, including planning, editing, and delivering high-quality video content for marketing, brand storytelling, and client communication. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with marketing and creative teams to interpret briefs, assembling raw footage, applying advanced editing techniques, and refining narrative structure to align with campaign objectives. The Senior Video Editor will perform color grading, add motion graphics and visual elements, and ensure all assets meet brand guidelines and platform specifications. The role also involves mentoring junior editors, maintaining an organized asset library, and staying updated on industry trends and tools to continuously improve video output.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience managing projects from concept to final delivery.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, ensuring consistent, professional visual quality across all content.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand messaging.
Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
Demonstrated portfolio of commercial, marketing, or corporate video work showcasing strong narrative and visual design.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Chennai.
Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
Experience leading or mentoring junior team members is an advantage.
