PCB Design Engineer - Altium

Role Description The PCB Design Engineer - Altium will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PCB layouts for custom electronic devices, primarily using Altium Designer. Day-to-day tasks include creating schematic diagrams, performing board layout, collaborating with hardware and embedded teams to refine designs, and ensuring designs meet electrical, mechanical, and regulatory requirements. The engineer will review and update designs based on test results, coordinate with manufacturing partners for DFM/DFT considerations, and maintain documentation and design libraries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-ready boards for IoT, M2M, and related applications.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Circuit Design and Electrical Engineering, with experience in schematic capture and component selection.
Hands-on expertise in Board Layout using Altium Designer, including multilayer PCB design and routing for high-density boards.
Knowledge of Analog circuit design principles, including noise reduction, signal integrity, and power supply design.
Experience working with Radio Frequency (RF) circuits or mixed-signal designs, including antenna considerations and EMI/EMC awareness.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Familiarity with DFM/DFT, PCB manufacturing processes, and basic debugging using lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter).
Ability to interpret datasheets, standards, and hardware requirements, and document designs clearly and consistently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
