About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Our client is a building materials company reinventing how it does business — and it needs someone to own the whole engine, online and offline, and make sure the two are actually talking to each other. That's this role.
What you'll own
Digital
Run performance marketing — paid social, search, display, remarketing. You're not briefing an agency and hoping. You're in the account, making the calls.
Build campaigns across Instagram, Meta, Google, YouTube that people actually stop scrolling for
Own email on Klaviyo — flows, campaigns, segmentation, testing. Make the inbox a channel people want to be in
Live in the numbers — ROAS, CAC, CTR, LTV — and move budget the second they tell you something
Shape the whole customer journey, discovery to loyalty
Offline
Own how the brand shows up at dealer counters and in stores — activations, launches, collateral that doesn't look like it was printed in 2009
Run architect and PMC events, trade exhibitions, regional launches — get people in a room and make it count
Wire data capture into every offline touchpoint — QR codes, lead forms, sign-ups — so a trade show doesn't just end when the lights go off, it feeds the funnel
Coordinate with sales and franchise teams on the ground so activations actually convert, not just look good in photos
Cross-functional
Team up with content and design to keep the work fresh — no stale creative, no recycled decks
Keep a finger on the pulse of what's new — formats, tools, platforms — and push to try the good ones fast
What you bring
Must have
4–6 years running performance marketing with real, hands-on ownership of paid social and search budgets
Have actually built and run Klaviyo (or equivalent) flows and segmentation — not just watched someone else do it
Planned and executed at least one offline activation or event end to end — trade show, retail activation, regional launch
Fluent in ROAS, CAC, CTR, LTV — read the data, act on it, no hand-holding needed
Worked across both D2C/e-commerce and a retail or dealer-network world
Strongly preferred
Background in building materials, home & living, furniture, or another big-ticket considered-purchase category
Comfortable marketing to consumers and trade audiences (architects, contractors, dealers) at the same time
What we look for beyond the CV
You do the work yourself — campaigns, events — not just direct a team or an agency
You're wired for a lean, founder-style setup where decisions move fast
You can walk into a dealer showroom or a trade booth and just get things done, not just strategize from a desk
Online and offline aren't two departments to you — it's one funnel
Reporting and structure
Reports to the Head of Marketing/Brand. Works closely with sales and franchise ops on activations, content and design on creative, and dealer/franchise partners directly.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience.
Work arrangement
No
