Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Kamdhenu Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role typically involves overseeing day-to-day operations for an assigned function or department, supporting planning and execution of business strategies, and ensuring that processes align with company standards and safety guidelines. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and help implement improvements in workflow and resource utilization. Responsibilities may include coordinating with suppliers or dealers, assisting in budgeting and cost control, handling documentation and compliance, and supporting team members through clear communication and guidance. The role requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong operational and coordination skills, including experience in supervising processes, tracking performance, and supporting day-to-day departmental activities.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, franchise partners, dealers, and other stakeholders.
Basic understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or infrastructure-related industries; experience in steel or building materials is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or similar business systems.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity and quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Prior experience in an Assistant Manager or similar role, with exposure to operations, sales support, or franchise management, is highly beneficial.
