Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend expertise who can independently design, build, and deliver high-quality features across the stack. You will play a key role in shaping implementation decisions, improving engineering standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning problems end-to-end and working closely with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems
● Build scalable, maintainable frontend applications using React.js
● Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.js
● Own feature delivery from requirements clarification to production release
● Make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
● Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
● Review code from peers and raise the overall quality bar
● Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis
● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to refine requirements
● Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and reliability best practices, especially for healthcare data
● Actively contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standards
● Use modern developer tooling, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
● 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience
● Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
● Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS
● Solid experience with
○ React.js and modern frontend patterns
○ Node.js and RESTful API design
● Experience working with databases
○ SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
● Strong understanding of
○ Software design principles
○ Performance optimization
○ Error handling and observability
● Hands-on experience with
○ Unit and integration testing
○ Git-based workflows and code reviews
○ CI/CD pipelines
○ Any of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP
● Ability to debug complex issues across the stack
● Clear communication and collaboration skills
● Demonstrates sound judgment in leveraging AI-assisted tools—knowing when to use them and when not to.
Nice-to-Have
● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native systems
● Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, or regulated domains
● Experience designing APIs or systems consumed at scale
● Prior mentoring experience
