👨 💻 Role: Azure Cloud Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure security, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Azure Cloud Security support for the HBJV client, focusing on Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Defender for Endpoint.
Monitor and investigate security threats, incidents, and alerts to ensure effective threat detection and response.
Manage and investigate security incidents using FortiSIEM, including detailed analysis, root cause identification, and timely resolution.
Review and manage monthly Qualys vulnerability scan reports, categorizing findings and coordinating with technical teams for remediation.
Track vulnerability remediation and ensure timely closure of identified security issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate critical vulnerabilities across Azure environments.
Monitor and maintain compliance with security best practices and defined SLAs.
Support continuous improvement of the client's overall Azure Cloud Security posture.
Required Skills & Experience:
4–6 years of experience in Azure Cloud Security / Cyber Security.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
Good experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
Experience working with FortiSIEM for security monitoring and incident investigation.
Hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management and vulnerability remediation.
Strong understanding of Azure security concepts, threat detection, monitoring, and compliance.
Experience in security incident analysis, investigation, and root cause identification.
Good understanding of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
Experience working with cross-functional technical teams in enterprise environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working within defined SLAs and security processes.
