Content Marketing Intern

Company Description Yashoma is a doctor-led parenting platform in India that supports mothers from pregnancy through the first six years of a child’s life. Co-founded by pediatric intensivist Dr. Sandip Gupta and entrepreneur Prashant Raghav, the platform offers trusted, clinically grounded guidance to parents in both Hindi and English. Yashoma brings together structured content, an AI parenting assistant, growth and pregnancy trackers, doctor consultations, and an engaged parent community in a single app.
Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Content Marketing Intern at Yashoma. The intern will support the creation, editing, and publishing of digital content across the platform and social channels, aligned with Yashoma’s parenting and healthcare focus. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting web articles and app content, repurposing expert guidance into clear, accessible posts, and assisting in planning content calendars and campaigns. The intern will collaborate with founders and subject-matter experts to refine messaging, ensure consistency of voice, and optimize content for audience engagement and brand awareness. The role may also involve basic performance tracking of content, researching parenting topics, and contributing ideas to improve content formats and user experience.
Qualifications
Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and empathetic content for parents.
Ability to support Content Strategy and basic Content Management, including planning, organizing, and updating digital materials.
Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with a distributed, cross-functional team.
Interest in parenting, child health, or consumer health products; prior exposure to healthcare or edtech content is a plus.
Comfort working remotely, with good time management, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-moving startup environment.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred.
Basic familiarity with social media platforms, content analytics tools, or SEO principles is beneficial.
