Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Import Executive to manage and support import-related operations, shipment coordination, customs clearance documentation, and logistics activities. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHA), finance, factory, and sales teams to ensure smooth and timely movement of imported shipments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing support to Import Assistance, coordination with suppliers & prepare the documents as per requirement for proper custom clearance.
2. Proper Follow up with forwarders & custom agent for track the shipments.
3. Prepare the documents as per shipment required to CHA for the custom clearance & check the IGCR benefit /Duty structure as required on our products.
4. Follow up for Duty payments/Maintainer required sheets/ Eway bill & arrange the goods to our factory.
5. Prepare the upcoming expected duties for finance management.
6. Manage SAP entries.
7. Coordination with factory for arrange details of shipments, Forward the information in factory & sales team for arrival of shipment.
8. Maintain the Tracking sheet for track the record of all shipments.
9. Follow up of all other work in absence of Import head.
10. Other than follow up for Daily routine work.
Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; candidates with a background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Commerce, or related fields will be preferred.
Prior experience in Import Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade will be preferred.
Good knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance processes
Familiarity with CHA coordination, freight forwarding, shipment tracking, and duty-related processes
Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel
Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail with good documentation and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks while meeting timelines.
