Software Engineer – Payments & AI
Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Java developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and Payments (GPP) who can also leverage Python and Generative AI technologies to build innovative AI-powered capabilities for our Payments product. This role combines deep product knowledge with modern AI development.
Key Responsibilities
Understand and contribute to the GPP Payments product architecture and business workflows.
Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices.
Build and maintain backend services, integrations, and messaging solutions.
Develop AI-powered use cases using Python, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI frameworks.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing Payments products to improve productivity, automation, and customer experience.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and business teams to identify and implement high-value AI opportunities.
Follow SDLC best practices, coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills
5-8 years of experience in software development.
Strong expertise in:
Java, J2EE, Core Java
Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
Hibernate, JPA
REST APIs & Microservices
SQL, Kafka, MQ/JMS
Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito
Strong understanding of Payments/GPP domain.
Good programming experience in Python.
Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Azure/AWS/GCP.
Preferred
Hands-on experience delivering AI use cases in enterprise products.
Knowledge of Semantic Search, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
