Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports business decisions and drives organizational growth. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights through reports, dashboards, and visualizations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This remote role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools, and the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and operational reporting activities.
Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data definitions.
Stay updated on industry trends, analytics tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualization tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake.
Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and data modeling.
Experience with Google Analytics or other digital analytics tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
