About Shiksha Nation EdTech Private Limited
Shiksha Nation is building a modern education ecosystem focused on helping students and families
make better, more informed decisions about education and careers.
As we grow, we are looking for a Social Media Manager who can help build SN’s voice, community, and
digital presence across platforms. This role is not just about posting content—it is about understanding
our audience, identifying what matters to them, creating content that earns attention, and turning
social media into a meaningful growth and brand-building channel.
The Role
As the Social Media Manager, you will own the day-to-day social media presence of Shiksha Nation
across relevant platforms. You will work closely with the Head – Marketing to translate the brand strategy into compelling social content, campaigns, conversations, and communities.
We are looking for someone who is strategic enough to understand why a piece of content should exist,
creative enough to make it interesting, and hands-on enough to take it from idea to execution.
1. Social Media Strategy
• Develop and execute SN’s social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and
other relevant platforms.
• Build monthly/weekly content calendars aligned with brand, business and campaign priorities.
• Identify content opportunities based on audience interests, trends, conversations and cultural
moments.
• Develop platform-specific content strategies rather than simply repurposing the same content
everywhere.
• Continuously experiment with formats, hooks, narratives and content themes to improve engagement
and reach.
2. Content Creation & Execution
• Own the end-to-end social media content process—from ideation and briefing to publishing and
performance tracking.
• Create strong social-first content including reels, carousels, static posts, stories, short-form videos,
memes, polls and other formats.
• Write/edit captions, hooks, headlines, scripts and social copy.
• Work with designers, video editors, copywriters, creators and internal teams to get content produced
and published on time.
• Maintain a consistent and distinctive SN brand voice across platforms.
3. Brand Building
• Help define and evolve how Shiksha Nation sounds and shows up on social media.
• Build recognisable content properties and recurring formats that can become synonymous with SN.
• Identify opportunities to humanise the brand through people, stories, behind-the-scenes content,
founder-led content, student/family stories and community moments.
• Ensure that social content strengthens brand perception rather than chasing vanity metrics alone.
4. Community & Engagement
• Monitor comments, DMs, mentions and conversations around SN and relevant education/career
topics.
• Build an active and engaged community around the brand.
• Respond to audiences thoughtfully and in the brand's voice.
• Identify recurring questions, concerns and conversations that can become future content
opportunities.
• Track sentiment and flag important feedback or issues to the marketing team.
5. Trends & Cultural Relevance
• Stay deeply plugged into social media trends, formats, creators, memes and emerging conversations.
• Identify which trends are relevant to SN and creatively adapt them without making the brand feel like
it is simply following trends.
• Bring fresh content ideas and references to the team regularly.
• Have a strong understanding of what works—and what doesn't—on each platform.
6. Analytics & Optimisation
• Track social media performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitor metrics such as reach, engagement, watch time, retention, shares, saves, follower growth,
traffic and conversions.
• Analyse content performance and translate data into actionable insights.
• Conduct regular content audits to understand winning themes, formats, hooks and topics.
• Continuously optimise the content strategy based on performance.
7. Campaigns & Collaborations
• Support and execute social media campaigns for brand, product, events and business initiatives.
• Coordinate with influencers, creators and relevant partners where required.
• Support founder/leadership-led social media initiatives.
• Develop social amplification plans for key SN events, launches and announcements.
