Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
SAP IBP Modules: Deep hands-on experience with Supply (Time Series), Response & Supply (OBP - Order-Based Planning), and RTI.
Planning Algorithms: Expertise in heuristics, optimization, prioritization, and propagation heuristics.
Integration: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, CPI-DS, and RTI setup.
Data Modelling: Experience with flexible data models, planning area configuration, and master data management.
Tools & Interfaces: Proficiency in Excel-based planning views, Web UI, and dashboarding tools.
Technical Implementation & Configuration
·Design and configure Flexible Planning Areas (SAP7F) and Order-Based Planning Profiles.
·Implement order-based heuristics and optimizers for supply and deployment planning.
·Set up and manage Real-Time Integration (RTI) with SAP S/4HANA.
·Configure supply planning runs with switchable constraints and allocation creation.
·Develop and maintain master data extensibility and reconciliation processes.
Advanced Planning Capabilities
·Execute constrained and unconstrained planning algorithms (heuristics, prioritization, optimization).
·Model and constrain against production, transportation, and storage resources.
·Create short-term deployment runs and operational supply plans.
·Deep knowledge of gating factor analysis, planner workspace, projected stock app, analysis for response planning. Analyse supply usage.
Integration & Scenario Management
Integrate SAP IBP with external systems using CPI-DS and RTI.
Develop simulation scenarios and compare outcomes using Excel and Web-based dashboards.
Support synchronized planning with SAP S/4HANA for production and detailed scheduling.
