Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager/Senior Operations Manager to lead large-scale Medical Coding operations. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure quality and compliance, manage client relationships, and lead high-performing teams while achieving productivity and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end medical coding operations across multiple accounts and shifts.
Ensure productivity, quality, SLA, TAT, and financial targets are consistently achieved.
Monitor coding quality and ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, HIPAA, and client guidelines.
Lead client governance calls, operational reviews, and stakeholder communication.
Manage, mentor, and develop Team Leads, Assistant Managers, and coding teams.
Review MIS, analyze operational metrics, and drive data-based improvements.
Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or automation.
Identify operational risks and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Eligibility
CPC, CRC, or CCS certification preferred.
10+ years of experience in US Healthcare/Medical Coding.
3–6+ years in a leadership role.
Experience managing large medical coding operations and teams of 150+ FTE.
Strong client management, people leadership, and operational excellence skills.
HCC Coding preferred
