Job Description:
This role supports the Asset, Finance, Servicing, and Hybrid Operations function and is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of commercial lease transactions, including transaction booking, cash and wire reconciliation, contract maintenance, payment application, investor settlements, and ongoing lease portfolio servicing.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Commercial Leasing Operations with hands-on knowledge of cash application, reconciliation, lease booking, contract maintenance, and servicing activities. Experience with InfoLease is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
Cash & Payment Operations
Review and approve daily investor settlements.
Reconcile incoming cash and wires against expected receivables.
Match incoming wires to client receivables and investigate discrepancies.
Create payment batches and accurately apply payments in InfoLease.
Research and resolve cash application, payment, and reconciliation exceptions.
Ensure all cash and payment transactions are processed accurately and within established timelines.
Lease Booking & System Maintenance
Review and book new commercial lease transactions into InfoLease from Rapport.
Validate transaction information prior to booking.
Perform contract maintenance and required system updates throughout the lease lifecycle.
Ensure lease records and transaction data are accurate and complete.
Identify and resolve system or transaction discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams.
Lease Portfolio Servicing
Perform daily validations related to:
Early Buyouts
Dispositions
Contract Maintenance
Other Lease Portfolio Servicing Activities
Process property tax rebilling, mis-rebilling, expenses, and fees in InfoLease.
Assist with partial and end-of-term buyout processing.
Support ongoing lease maintenance and servicing activities.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve servicing exceptions and transaction issues.
Operational Controls & Stakeholder Management
Ensure lease transactions and portfolio records are accurately maintained.
Perform quality checks and follow established operational controls and procedures.
Investigate and resolve booking, cash, payment, and servicing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate supporting documentation and transaction records.
Support reconciliations, reporting, audit requests, and operational reviews.
Meet established SLAs while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Identify opportunities to improve lease servicing, booking, cash application, and operational processes.
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of experience in Commercial Leasing, Lease Servicing, Asset Finance, or Banking Operations.
Strong understanding of commercial leasing and lease servicing processes.
Experience with cash application, cash/wire reconciliation, transaction booking, and receivables.
Experience supporting lease portfolio servicing and contract maintenance.
Experience processing payments and maintaining accurate financial transaction records.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage daily operational deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operations environment.
Preferred Skills
InfoLease experience – strongly preferred.
U.S. Commercial Banking / Financial Services experience – strongly preferred.
Experience with Rapport or similar transaction processing systems.
Knowledge of commercial lease servicing, including:
Early Buyouts
End-of-Term Buyouts
Partial Buyouts
Dispositions
Contract Maintenance
Property Tax Rebilling
Expenses and Fees
Experience with investor settlements and cash/wire reconciliation.
Experience supporting Asset Finance, Equipment Finance, or Specialty Finance operations.
Familiarity with U.S. commercial leasing processes and operational controls.
