Admissions Counselor

GCEC Global Foundation is looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and student-focused Admission Counsellor to join our Admissions Team. The ideal candidate should be confident in communicating with students and parents, possess strong counselling and persuasion skills, and be comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students and parents.
Understand student aspirations and provide course, career and admission counselling.
Nurture leads throughout the admission funnel through structured and timely follow-ups.
Convert qualified leads into applications, registrations and admissions.
Handle and coordinate campus visits for prospective students and parents.
Follow up with students for registration, fee payments and pending documentation.
Maintain accurate lead information, follow-ups and communication history in the CRM.
Resolve student/parent queries related to courses, eligibility, fees, admissions and processes.
Coordinate with academic, operations and other internal teams to ensure a smooth admission journey.
Maintain a healthy lead pipeline and work towards individual and team admission targets.
Identify high-intent prospects and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
Build strong and professional relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
Eligibility:-
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
MBA/PGDM or relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
1–3years of experience in admissions, education counselling, inside sales, tele-counselling or a related role.
Freshers with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in student counselling and education sales are welcome to apply.
Salary Range:- 2-4 LPA (Based on experience and interview performance)
Requirements:-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong counselling, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
Comfortable making a high volume of calls and conducting consistent follow-ups.
Target-oriented mindset with a focus on lead conversion and revenue outcomes.
Ability to understand student needs and recommend appropriate courses/programs.
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.
Basic proficiency in CRM platforms, MS Excel/Google Sheets and digital communication tools.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to work on weekends/holidays during peak admission periods, as required.
