Role Description The Service Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuttack, responsible for overseeing day-to-day service operations for agricultural equipment and machinery. This role includes supervising service technicians, planning and monitoring service schedules, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance. The Service Supervisor will coordinate with customers to understand service needs, resolve issues, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction. The role involves training and guiding team members on technical and service procedures, maintaining accurate service records, and implementing standard operating processes. The Service Supervisor will also liaise with dealers and internal stakeholders to support spare parts availability, warranty handling, and continuous improvement of service quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead service teams, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to handle inquiries, address complaints, and maintain positive relationships.
Candidates should possess Training and Communication skills to coach team members, conduct briefings, and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
Relevant experience in service management for agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, or automotive sectors is beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Agricultural Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Cuttack, manage field visits, and adapt to rural and semi-urban operating environments.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital service reporting tools is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and ethical business practices.
