Role brief
The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation activities across various technical disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The role ensures that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and prolong the lifespan of systems
Install new equipment and systems as required
Upgrade existing systems to improve efficiency and performance
Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Prepare reports on equipment status and maintenance performed
Work closely with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations
Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other departments regarding maintenance issues and schedules
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed
Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Qualifications
Minimum 12th pass
Diploma in electrical or a graduate from ITI institute preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel, club, cruise, restaurant, etc.
Extensive operational knowledge of equipments & systems
Outstanding communication, interpersonal time-management skills
Flexible to relocate
