Quality Control Assistant

Position: QC Executive – Fashion Jewellery Manufacturing

About the Role
Voylla is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QC Executive to join our Manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that jewellery meets defined quality standards, approved designs and finishing requirements at different stages of production.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality checks at in-process and final stages of jewellery manufacturing.
Inspect jewellery for defects related to design, shape, size, alignment, soldering, polishing, plating, colouring, finishing and assembly.
Check stones/embellishments for proper setting, alignment and security.
Verify products against approved design specifications, samples and quality parameters.
Identify defects and coordinate with Production/Karigar teams for rework and corrective action.
Re-inspect corrected pieces and ensure all identified defects are properly resolved.
Monitor recurring defects and highlight quality issues to the supervisor/management.
Maintain QC reports, rejection records, rework details and inspection data.
Coordinate with Production, Design and other manufacturing teams to maintain consistent quality.
Ensure defective pieces are segregated and do not move to the next stage or dispatch.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework and quality-related losses.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of fashion jewellery manufacturing processes.
Good understanding of jewellery defects and finishing standards.
Excellent observation and attention to detail.
Ability to identify minor workmanship and finishing defects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and QC documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
Graduate / Diploma preferred.
5 years of relevant experience in jewellery manufacturing QC/quality checking.
Experience in fashion jewellery manufacturing will be preferred.
