Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Team of 9 chefs
• Oversee kitchen operations: Manage food preparation, presentation, and production while ensuring quality, safety, sanitation, and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability
• Manage administrative functions: Oversee kitchen systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team member operations
• Ensure ingredient quality: Select, inspect, and utilize high-quality food and beverage products, including meats, seafood, produce, and seasonings
• Enhance menu offerings: Create and implement new dishes and seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience
• Lead a high-performing team: Supervise and support team members, recruit new talent, monitor development and performance, provide coaching and foster a positive and productive work environment
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
What are we looking for?
• Strong Sous Chef/ Assistant Kitchen Manager or previous Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager experience
• Approaches food in a creative way
• Strong supervisory skills
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
