Quint Digital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic "WordPress & Web Development Intern" to join our growing digital team.
This is a 100% Remote / Work From Home opportunity, ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience working on "real-world websites, eCommerce stores and ongoing client projects"
If you enjoy building websites, working with WordPress and Elementor, managing eCommerce products, creating landing pages, customising WordPress websites and exploring AI tools to work smarter, we’d love to hear from you!
💻 What You’ll Work With
You’ll get practical experience working across our ongoing website and eCommerce projects, including:
🔹 WordPress & Elementor
•⁠ ⁠Build and customise WordPress websites using Elementor
•⁠ ⁠Customise existing WordPress themes and child themes
•⁠ ⁠Work with WordPress themes, templates and page layouts
•⁠ ⁠Customise and configure WordPress plugins
•⁠ ⁠Understand plugin compatibility and basic plugin conflicts
•⁠ ⁠Modify website functionality based on project requirements
•⁠ ⁠Make basic PHP/code-level adjustments where required
•⁠ ⁠Add and customise CSS and HTML
•⁠ ⁠Create responsive and user-friendly website layouts
•⁠ ⁠Build landing pages for ongoing projects
•⁠ ⁠Update and maintain website content
•⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot basic website, theme and plugin issues
•⁠ ⁠Understand WordPress updates and new releases
•⁠ ⁠Stay aware of the *latest WordPress versions, features, security updates and best practices*
•⁠ ⁠Check theme and plugin compatibility before/after WordPress updates
•⁠ ⁠Follow best practices when making changes to live websites
🔹 HTML5 & CSS3
⁠ •⁠ ⁠Work with HTML5 structure and semantic markup
•⁠ ⁠Use CSS3 for styling and customisation
•⁠ ⁠Fix spacing, alignment and responsive design issues
•⁠ ⁠Implement website design changes accurately
•⁠ ⁠Inspect and troubleshoot basic front-end issues
🔹 WooCommerce
⁠ ⁠Add and manage products
•⁠ ⁠Create and manage product categories
•⁠ ⁠Work with product taxonomies
•⁠ ⁠Create and manage product attributes
•⁠ ⁠Manage product variations
•⁠ ⁠Add product images, descriptions and specifications
•⁠ ⁠Configure basic WooCommerce settings
•⁠ ⁠Assist with WooCommerce store management
•⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot basic product and store-related issues
### 🔹 Shopify
•⁠ ⁠Add and manage products
•⁠ ⁠Create and manage collections
•⁠ ⁠Manage product information
•⁠ ⁠Work with product categories and attributes
•⁠ ⁠Assist with Shopify store updates and customisation
•⁠ ⁠Build and update Shopify pages where required
### 🤖 AI Tools & AI-Assisted Work
We actively use AI tools as part of our digital workflow, and the candidate should be comfortable using AI to improve productivity, problem-solving and work quality.
You should be willing to work with tools such as:

# 🎯 What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate:
✅ Has basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress
✅ Has hands-on experience with Elementor
✅ Understands WordPress themes and basic theme customisation
✅ Has experience or interest in customising WordPress plugins and functionality
✅ Understands HTML5 & CSS3 fundamentals
✅ Has basic understanding of PHP and JavaScript or is willing to learn
✅ Understands WordPress updates, versions and new features
✅ Can identify basic theme/plugin compatibility issues
✅ Has an interest in WooCommerce and eCommerce websites
✅ Has basic knowledge of Shopify
✅ Understands products, categories, taxonomies, attributes and variations
✅ Can create and customise landing pages
✅ Is comfortable using ChatGPT, Gemini or other AI tools
✅ Has strong attention to detail
✅ Can follow instructions accurately
✅ Can troubleshoot problems and research solutions independently
✅ Can manage tasks independently while working remotely
✅ Has good communication skills
✅ Can meet deadlines and manage assigned work
✅ Is willing to continuously learn new tools and technologies
