Senior Accountant - Oracle Netsuite, German-speaking
An international technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant (German-speaking) with good knowledge of Oracle Netsuite to join their Accounting and finance team.
The company is looking for an experienced Accountant to deliver accounting, month-end closing and support on tasks including preparing for Audit and improving processes. The company has recently implemented Oracle Netsuite as their core financial system and ERP, and are looking for someone with experience using Netsuite and good accounting experience (e.g 3-5 years) and knowledge of German GAAP / HGB.
The right candidate will be an experienced Accountant with good Netsuite end user knowledge and will speak German.
Your role:
Financial Accounting according to HGB / German GAAP or IFRS, depending on entity location
Accounting in Netsuite
Delivering month end / Year end closing activities
Preparation for Audit
Liaising with German Steuerberater (Tax Accountants) and Audit teams
Accounts Receiveable, Bank Recs and Accounts Payable records reconciliation
GL, AP Accounting as well as supporting improvements such as data cleansing and process improvement
Reviewing and validating bookkeeping entries and transactions
Preparing financial statements / management reports and supporting controlling
Your experience:
Senior Accountant with 3-5 years' experience
Good knowledge of accounting standards, ideally German GAAP HGB and IFRS
Fluent German and good English skills
Prior Experience using Oracle Netsuite ERP
Location: Germany - Homeoffice with occasional travel to Nordrhein-Westfalen
