Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid UI UX Frontend Engineer role based in Mysore, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The UI UX Frontend Engineer will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate user experience concepts into responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing UI designs using modern frontend frameworks, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and ensuring consistency with design systems and brand guidelines. The role involves conducting UI/UX reviews, participating in user-centric design discussions, and iterating on interfaces based on feedback and usability insights. The engineer will also contribute to frontend code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and one or more frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
Experience with UI/UX design principles, wireframing or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), and implementing pixel-perfect, responsive layouts.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques for web and mobile interfaces.
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, GitHub/GitLab), and agile or iterative development methodologies.
Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns in a scalable frontend architecture.
Relevant experience in building customer-facing digital products; exposure to financial or enterprise applications is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
