🔴 MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
SAP MDG + ABAP experience is mandatory.
Candidates with only SAP MDG or only ABAP experience will not be considered.
🔹 ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG – ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance and ABAP development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, customizing, integrating, and supporting SAP MDG solutions while working closely with business, functional, and technical teams.
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design & Implementation
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions.
Ensure seamless integration of MDG solutions with business processes and enterprise systems.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
2. Custom Development
Develop and enhance custom SAP objects and applications.
Work on UI components, BRF+ rules, workflows, and data models.
Develop and customize solutions using ABAP.
Work with Web Dynpro ABAP and FPM.
3. Data Governance & Integration
Design and implement SAP MDG data models and data governance processes.
Configure and support data replication frameworks.
Develop integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and governance.
4. Collaboration & Requirement Gathering
Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, architects, developers, and technical teams.
Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Participate in solution discussions and provide technical recommendations.
5. Testing & Documentation
Lead/support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Prepare detailed technical and functional documentation.
Ensure proper documentation of configurations, developments, integrations, and processes.
6. Training & Production Support
Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Ensure smooth system adoption and ongoing operation.
🔹 TECHNICAL SKILLS
✅ SAP MDG – Mandatory
Strong experience in SAP Master Data Governance.
Data modeling and data quality management.
Data replication and governance frameworks.
MDG integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
✅ ABAP – Mandatory
Strong ABAP programming experience.
Web Dynpro ABAP
FPM (Floorplan Manager)
Custom development and enhancement.
✅ BRF+
Strong expertise in Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+).
Ability to develop and maintain business rules and decision logic.
✅ SAP S/4HANA
Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture.
Experience integrating SAP MDG with S/4HANA.
✅ Data Integration
Experience with SAP PI/PO.
Knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, ALE/IDocs.
Experience in SAP and non-SAP system integration.
🔹 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM).
Knowledge of master data processes across Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and related business functions.
Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
🔹 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
🎓 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
💼 Minimum 6 years of SAP MDG experience, with at least 3 years in a techno-functional role.
🏆 SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) certification is preferred.
