US-based Scrum Master (with Pharma, Life Sciences org experience)

0.5 FTE (about 4 hours/day), long term, remote job
Start: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive agile delivery for a pharmaceutical client project. The ideal candidate has a strong background in agile facilitation and can bridge technical teams with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for one or more cross-functional teams
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external disruptions to maintain sprint velocity
• Coach team members on agile principles, ensuring consistent application of practices
• Partner with stakeholders to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog aligned to business timelines
• Track and report sprint metrics and surface risks to leadership
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other functional groups such as DS and JJT.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing agile best practices
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations
• Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
