Role Description The Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Facilitator is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving remote training sessions focused on cybersecurity and ethical hacking concepts and practices. In this full-time role, the facilitator develops curricula, lesson plans, labs, and assessments that emphasize hands-on, real-world scenarios across various security domains. Day-to-day activities include leading live online classes, guiding learners through practical exercises, demonstrating tools and methodologies, and providing clear explanations of complex security topics. The facilitator also evaluates learner progress, offers individualized feedback, and supports participants in preparing for industry-recognized certifications. Collaboration with the training team to update course content, align with current threats and technologies, and ensure high-quality learning experiences is a core component of this remote position.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to explain core principles to diverse learner groups.
Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including secure network design, monitoring, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.
Experience in Application Security, such as secure coding practices, web application testing, and common application-layer attack vectors.
Demonstrated skills in ethical hacking and penetration testing across multiple environments, including systems, networks, and applications.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISSP, Security+) or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
Proven ability to facilitate interactive training sessions, communicate complex technical topics clearly, and support learners with varying levels of experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear training materials, lab guides, and documentation.
Comfort working fully remotely, with strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and reliability in managing a full-time training schedule.
Experience with learning platforms, virtual classrooms, and basic instructional design principles is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
