Embedded Systems / Microcontroller Programmer (Python / C/C++)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Embedded Systems / Microcontroller Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of embedded software solutions for advanced electronic systems developed by MIRA TECHNOLOGIES. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge security, communication, and information technology systems. Your expertise will contribute to the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical of our products deployed by customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python and C/C++ software applications for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Interpret and use electrical schematics, hardware documentation, and datasheets to ensure correct integration of software-hardware components.
• Program and configure hardware peripherals (including timers, DMA, GPIO, ADC, PWM, UART, etc.) according to project requirements.
• Optimize, refactor and enhance existing projects, with a focus on stability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop applications for communication with front ends, servers, or other devices, using HTTP/TCP and protocols specific to embedded systems.
• Manage and interact with MySQL databases.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure full integration between software and electronic components.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to guarantee code quality and system stability.
• Debug and resolve software issues, including data flow analysis and performance optimization.
• Continuously evaluate and implement modern technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to embedded systems development.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields (or equivalent practical experience).
Technical Skills:
• Demonstrable experience programming in Python and, ideally, in C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with Flask, Socket IO, or other frameworks for client-server applications.
• Experience working with MySQL databases.
Preferred skills:
• Experience programming hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB) for circuits such as RTCs, accelerometers, ADCs, temperature sensors, communication modules, etc.
• Knowledge of parallel data stream processing, including the use of CUDA.
• Experience with embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson (Nano/Orin), Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32, or other development boards.
• Experience with automated testing and hardware-software validation methodologies.
• Strong C/C++ skills are considered a major advantage.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
