Lead Java Developer
We’re looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team building and evolving high-impact applications in a cloud environment. You’ll work on a modern, scalable stack with a strong emphasis on AI-driven development, cloud architecture, and technical leadership.
Project Overview
This project focuses on the modernization and scaling of enterprise-grade applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will drive the evolution of distributed systems, ensuring high performance and seamless integration of external services.
About The Role
As a Lead Developer, you will balance hands-on engineering with high-level architectural ownership. You will be a champion for AI adoption, mentoring a distributed team while serving as the primary technical bridge between stakeholders and cross-functional engineering squads.

Java, Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, React, Microsoft Azure, SQL, NoSQL, Git, Microservices, CI/CD, Containerization, Claude, Cursor AI, Mermaid, AI-assisted coding, LLM integrations.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and development of robust backend applications using Java and modern React frontends.
Own the end-to-end architecture, ensuring technical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with cloud best practices.
Drive the adoption of advanced AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to optimize team productivity and code quality.
Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and the enforcement of engineering standards.
Translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps, collaborating closely with Product Owners and Architects.
Facilitate technical decision-making and influence stakeholders through clear, structured communication.
Requirements
Extensive experience in Java (Spring) and React development.
Proven track record in a Technical Lead or leadership role within distributed environments.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and designing scalable, distributed systems.
Advanced proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools beyond basic prompting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with both SQL/NoSQL databases and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers).
