Title: Enterprise Architect – I
Location: Remote - may be required to travel to Miramar for onsite meetings (quarterly/as needed)
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and develop data, analytics, and AI architecture solutions that align with business requirements and enterprise standards.
Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for operational and analytical systems.
Design data integration patterns, pipelines, APIs, and data movement strategies across enterprise platforms.
Collaborate with application, platform, and solution architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.
Support the implementation of data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and analytical platforms.
Assist in establishing and enforcing data governance, data quality, metadata, and lifecycle management practices.
Evaluate new technologies, tools, and architectural patterns and provide recommendations for adoption.
Participate in architecture reviews and provide guidance to engineering teams during solution design and implementation.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Contribute to architecture standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best practices.
Support AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives by helping teams design scalable and governed solutions.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into solution designs.
Identify risks, technical debt, and architectural improvement opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support Agile and DevOps delivery models by participating in planning, design, and continuous improvement activities.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to data, analytics, cloud, and AI platforms.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Typically 5+ years of experience in information technology, data engineering, analytics, or related disciplines.
1-3 years of experience performing architecture, solution design, or technical leadership responsibilities.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data and analytics solutions.
Experience with cloud platforms, modern data architectures, and distributed processing technologies.
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and supporting data architectures.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of data architecture frameworks, modeling techniques, and integration patterns.
Experience designing solutions using DataBricks, Confluent Kafka, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management principles.
Understanding of cloud services, APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and streaming platforms.
Experience supporting machine learning, AI, and Generative AI use cases.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and large-scale analytics platforms.
Understanding of security, privacy, compliance, and risk management considerations for data platforms.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Experience working across multiple technologies, platforms, and business domains.
Ability to mentor engineers and share technical knowledge with project teams.
Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, sales, distribution, or e-commerce environments is preferred.
