Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Coimbatore. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio to align with client briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the creative team on concepts, applying color grading for visual consistency, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and preparing videos in formats optimized for web, social media, and other channels. The role involves maintaining organized project files, adhering to timelines, and proactively suggesting creative improvements to enhance storytelling and audience engagement. The Video Editor will also support video production activities as needed, such as asset management and quality checks before delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to manage end-to-end post-production workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of video content.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics to create engaging animations, titles, and visual effects that support brand storytelling.
Candidates should possess skills in Graphics to collaborate on visual assets and integrate design elements seamlessly into video projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing and motion tools (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs into high-quality video output.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, writers, and project managers.
Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field; prior experience in a creative agency or similar environment is an advantage.
