Maintenance Specialist

1. Maintenance Planning and Execution:
· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment related to hard gelatin capsule production.
· Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance activities.
· Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize production interruptions.
2. Equipment Installation and Commissioning:
· Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
· Ensure all installations comply with safety and quality standards.
· Conduct performance tests and inspections post-installation.
3. Spare Parts Management:
· Maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumables required for maintenance activities.
· Source and procure spare parts in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of critical parts.
4. Team Management and Training:
· Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
· Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.
· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
5. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures.
· Implement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary.
6. Documentation and Compliance:
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment manuals.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
