JOB TITLE: Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional & Technical Consultant
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 6 Months
RATE RANGE: $48 - $58/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead requirements, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, documentation, and release readiness for Commerce enhancements.
Configure and support stores, registers, devices, workers, assortments, catalogs, pricing, promotions, payments, taxes, receipts, statements, and channel operations.
Assess impacts across Commerce HQ, online and store channels, Commerce Scale Unit, POS, back-office processes, and external services.
Produce functional and technical designs, estimates, dependencies, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, operational procedures, and support handoffs.
Troubleshoot configuration, synchronization, channel, transaction, statement, and integration issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of Dynamics retail or commerce consulting, including 4+ years with Dynamics 365 Commerce or Dynamics 365 Retail.
Multiple Commerce implementations, rollouts, enhancement programs, or managed-services engagements.
Ownership of cross-channel design, testing, deployment, and production support.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Hands-on Dynamics 365 Commerce configuration and solution-design experience.
Strong knowledge of Commerce HQ, channel database, Commerce Scale Unit, Store Commerce/POS, e-commerce, payments, pricing, promotions, inventory, and statements.
Working knowledge of D365 Finance and Supply Chain integration points, security, data entities, batch processes, and release management.
Ability to distinguish configuration needs from custom-development needs and provide reliable estimates
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Dynamics AX Retail experience.
Australian retail, taxation, payment-provider, loyalty, e-commerce, or high-volume store experience.
