Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Observability Engineer to join an SRE Tools & Telemetry team and help optimize the organization's use of the Dynatrace observability platform.
This is not a pure Dynatrace Administrator role. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace and the ability to assess an existing observability environment, identify opportunities to leverage Dynatrace more effectively, recommend optimal solutions, and implement those solutions into existing operational processes and runs.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate how Dynatrace is currently being utilized across the SRE/Telemetry environment.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to maximize Dynatrace capabilities and features.
Recommend optimal Dynatrace observability solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Design and implement recommended solutions within existing operational workflows.
Work closely with SRE, Telemetry, and engineering teams to improve observability capabilities.
Help ensure Dynatrace features and capabilities are being leveraged effectively.
Translate observability requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Support continuous improvement of monitoring, telemetry, and observability practices.
Provide technical expertise and guidance around Dynatrace usage and implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace.
Solid background in Observability, SRE Tools, and Telemetry.
Experience evaluating and optimizing the use of Dynatrace features and capabilities.
Ability to analyze existing environments, identify solutions, and implement those solutions.
Strong problem-solving and solution-design capabilities.
Experience working with existing SRE/observability operational processes and integrating new solutions into established environments.
Must be more than a Dynatrace Administrator — this role requires an engineer who can think strategically, recommend improvements, and execute technically.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with SRE and engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has worked in an organization where Dynatrace is a core part of the observability/telemetry function and has deep practical experience using the platform to solve complex monitoring and observability challenges.
Candidates with strong Dynatrace engineering and optimization experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Candidates may be considered from Onshore, Canada, or India, with candidate quality being the primary consideration.
