VP of Operations

Role Description The VP of Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance across beverage production, supply chain, and distribution. This role leads operational planning, sets performance targets, and ensures manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The VP of Operations manages budgets and P&L for operational units, drives cost optimization initiatives, and supports strategic growth plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring KPIs, resolving operational issues, and implementing process improvements. The person in this role will also focus on enhancing customer service levels, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including oversight of manufacturing, logistics, and process optimization.
Candidates should possess P&L Management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with experience improving service levels and managing key customer or client relationships.
Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills, including setting long-term operational goals and aligning operations with overall business strategy.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, and delivering outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-site or remote teams in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using data and KPIs to guide operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
Experience in the beverage, food and beverage, or broader manufacturing industry is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
