Customer Sales Representative

This 100% remote, six-month contract opportunity offers a consistent 1:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule.
The Customer Sales Representative will support customers through high-volume inbound phone interactions while balancing exceptional service with consultative sales. This role answers customer questions, recommends and sells home service products, resolves complaints and billing concerns, and coordinates service appointments. Success requires someone comfortable transitioning between customer service, sales, and conflict resolution while working toward individual and team sales goals in a fast-paced call environment.
This position will transition to fully remote work after completing required training; candidates must be willing and able to travel to Houston, TX, to attend training onsite.
Responsibilities
Handle high-volume inbound calls and provide timely, accurate solutions to customer inquiries.
Promote and sell home service products and services while working toward individual and team sales goals.
Identify customer needs, explain product features and benefits, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Process purchase agreements and accurately document customer, contract, and account information in the CRM.
Schedule maintenance and service appointments for customers.
Resolve complaints involving purchases, installations, billing, and service concerns.
Process account adjustments, payment arrangements, deposits, and other billing-related requests.
Follow customer issues through resolution and provide appropriate follow-up.
Handle electric outage calls during peak call volumes and storm events based on business needs.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, field technicians, and sales representatives to resolve customer needs.
Complete required sales, product, vendor, and system training.
Follow established sales compliance requirements during customer interactions.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of sales experience required in inside sales, phone sales, retail sales, or another direct sales environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience handling high-volume inbound customer calls.
Experience combining customer service with product or service sales.
Experience handling customer complaints and resolving conflicts.
Experience working toward individual or team sales goals and earning performance-based commission.
Experience using CRM or customer account management systems.
Ability to accurately process customer agreements, account information, payments, and appointment details.
Must be available to attend required onsite training in Houston, TX before transitioning to fully remote work.
Availability to work 1:00 PM–10:00 PM for the duration of the six-month contract.
Ability to work successfully in a 100% remote environment.
