We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Performance and Reward Consulting-Asia Pacific
Purpose Of The Role
The Performance and Reward Consulting role will provide guidance and knowledge on Performance and Reward matters.
In This Role, You Will
Take measures to provide guidance, constructive challenges and technical knowledge on the full spectrum of Performance and Reward matters
Interpret and advise on Performance and Reward policies and provide expert guidance on all elements of Performance and Reward, liaising with specialist colleagues as required on complex matters involving benefits, executive compensation, global mobility, deferred reward and wellbeing
Support the annual performance and pay review for the relevant client group
Collaborate with Performance and Reward colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of Performance and Reward initiatives, processes and products in line with business objectives
Maintain specialist knowledge by keeping abreast of internal policies, competitor practice, external market developments and trends, and legislative and regulatory developments
Translate data and reporting into analysis by interpreting the data and providing insights
Ensure the role is guided by local laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which the role holder operates, factoring relevant labour, taxation, political and cultural considerations into recommendations
Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure appropriate alignment between local and global practices and requirements, balancing changing regulatory requirements with market pressures and commercial considerations
To Be Successful You Will
Master’s degree in Human Resource
Five to six years of required and demonstrated Human Resource experience and responsibility in managing reward and benefits
Good working knowledge and understanding of current benefit legislation and statutory requirements for one or more countries across the HSBC Group
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage a diverse stakeholder group, including senior populations
Extensive knowledge of financial services performance and reward practices in global organisations
Highly proactive, with the ability to work in a matrix environment and support counterparts in global, regional and country teams
Strong track record of analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights and present effectively to stakeholders
Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment, with strong business acumen and the ability to apply critical analysis and judgement when reviewing activities
