Content Coordinator & Community Storyteller

Help tell the story of one of America’s fastest-growing communities.
"Our Ranch" is a new monthly magazine created for the residents of Babcock Ranch. Each issue will celebrate the neighbors, families, businesses, events and stories that make this community such a remarkable place to live.
We’re seeking a talented Content Coordinator who is equal parts writer, organizer and community connector: someone who can uncover meaningful local stories and thoughtfully bring them to life.
This is much more than a writing position. You’ll help shape the voice of a new publication from its earliest pages and play an important role in documenting Babcock Ranch as it continues to grow.
What You’ll Do
Identify and coordinate a featured family for each monthly issue
Interview residents and write engaging feature stories
Coordinate photography for resident features
Compile a monthly calendar of local events
Write business profiles and additional community articles
Edit and format content from residents, businesses and expert contributors
Manage submissions from multiple sources and upload completed content by deadline
Review magazine proofs within 24 business hours to ensure accuracy and polish
Collaborate with the Publisher to develop new sections and compelling local content
Who We’re Looking For
You are naturally curious, genuinely interested in people and excited by the opportunity to help build something meaningful within the community.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities
Warm, professional and timely communication
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Careful attention to detail and deadlines
Confidence managing content from multiple contributors
Proficiency with email, internet navigation and uploading or downloading files
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with Babcock Ranch and Southwest Florida is strongly preferred
