Digital Pre-Sales Executive

Role description
We are looking for a Digital Pre-Sales Executive to be the first point of contact for customers who enquire with us through digital channels. The role involves understanding customer requirements, qualifying leads, building initial trust, explaining our services, and converting qualified enquiries into design consultations/site visits/appointments for the sales team. The ideal candidate should be confident, articulate, commercially aware, and comfortable speaking with homeowners who are looking to invest in their interiors.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond promptly to leads generated digital channels.
• Contact new leads through calls and WhatsApp within defined response timelines.
• Understand the customer's requirements and qualify leads based on defined business criteria.
• Maintain accurate and updated lead information in the CRM.
• Explain the company's services, process, timelines, pricing approach, warranty, and key differentiators.
• Build trust and establish a positive first impression of the brand.
• Address basic customer questions and objections effectively.
• Follow up or re-engage leads who were previously unresponsive or not ready to proceed with leads who have not yet confirmed.
• Ensure customers are properly briefed before handing them over to the Sales team.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified appointments.
• Track reasons for lead drop-offs, postponements, and lost opportunities.
• Ensure no qualified lead is left unattended.
• Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.
• Support continuous improvement of lead qualification and communication processes.
Key Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conversational and persuasion skills.
• Ability to understand and qualify customer requirements quickly.
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and WhatsApp.
• Good objection-handling and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up discipline.
• Good working knowledge of CRM systems, WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic digital tools.
• Ability to work with targets and performance metrics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
Languages - Kannada or Hindi
Experience
• 1 – 3 years of experience in pre-sales, tele-sales, lead qualification, customer relationship management, or digital sales.
• Experience in interior design, real estate, home improvement, construction, furniture, or other high-ticket consumer businesses will be an advantage.
Compensation: 2.4 – 3.6 LPA
