Role Description The Director of Food and Beverage is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining. This role includes planning and executing service standards, menu concepts, and promotional activities to ensure exceptional guest experiences and consistent brand representation. The Director will manage budgets, drive revenue, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities involve leading and mentoring teams, coordinating with culinary and front-of-house departments, monitoring guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with hygiene, regulatory, and luxury hospitality standards.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, with a proven ability to oversee multiple outlets and banqueting functions.
Solid Culinary Skills and understanding of global cuisines, menu engineering, and presentation standards to collaborate effectively with culinary teams.
Demonstrated focus on Customer Satisfaction, including handling guest feedback, maintaining service excellence, and enhancing overall dining experiences.
Experience in Budgeting and financial management, including cost control, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
Previous leadership experience in luxury hotels or upscale hospitality environments, preferably in a similar Director-level F&B role.
Strong people management skills with the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to operations.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in health and safety compliance.
Relevant hospitality or hotel management degree/diploma is preferred.
