Quality Control Engineer – Civil

Qualification - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Salary Package: 5 to 6 LPA CTC
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in civil construction, tailing dam construction, earthwork, geomembrane liner installation, and quality control.
Job Location:
Rajsamand (Dariba) ,Rajasthan
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily supervision and monitoring of ongoing construction activities at the Tailing Dam site.
Ensure quality control and compliance with the approved QA/QC Plan.
Maintain and verify all necessary quality records, inspection reports, test reports, protocols, and construction documentation required for project completion and final reporting.
Monitor project progress and submit regular reports, observations, and updates to the HZL Engineer-in-Charge for construction activities.
Ensure that all construction activities are executed strictly as per approved designs, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Record and maintain all test data, track failed tests and subsequent re-tests, and prepare/coordinate the As-Built Construction Report for all tailing dam raise construction works.
Review construction survey data and verify the final construction limits, elevations, levels, and grades against the approved design drawings.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of civil construction and quality control practices
Experience in tailing dam/embankment construction will be preferred
Good understanding of QA/QC plans and inspection procedures
Knowledge of soil testing and geomembrane liner quality requirements
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data
Knowledge of quantity measurement and contractor bill verification
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and client representatives
Good knowledge of applicable construction quality standards and safety requirements
