Role Objective :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager – Arthroplasty to lead the product portfolio for Shoulder, Elbow, and Radial Head. The incumbent will be responsible for developing product strategies, driving market penetration, supporting sales teams, engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), planning product launches, and executing marketing initiatives to achieve business growth.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Product Management
Develop and execute annual product marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
Manage the complete product lifecycle from launch to phase-out.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify market opportunities.
Monitor product performance, sales trends, pricing, and profitability.
Recommend portfolio expansion based on market demand.
Product Launch & Strategy
Plan and execute new product launches across India.
Prepare launch strategies, marketing plans, and commercial roll-out.
Coordinate with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Clinical teams to ensure successful product introductions.
Develop pricing strategies and product positioning.
Sales Support
Train the sales team on product knowledge, clinical applications, competitive positioning, and objection handling.
Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and surgeon interactions.
Support the sales team during important surgical cases and customer conversions.
Prepare sales presentations and product comparison tools.
Marketing Activities
Develop marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, videos, product catalogues, and digital content.
Organize workshops, cadaver labs, CMEs, conferences, and surgeon education programs.
Manage marketing campaigns to increase product awareness.
Coordinate participation in national and international conferences.
KOL Management
Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (Orthopedics Surgeons).
Identify and develop surgeon advocates for the product portfolio.
Gather clinical feedback and market intelligence from healthcare professionals.
Coordinate surgeon training and product evaluation programs.
Market Intelligence
Analyze competitor products, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Monitor industry trends and customer requirements.
Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
Identify emerging technologies within the Arthroplasty segment.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Sales, Medical Education, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams.
Coordinate inventory planning to ensure product availability.
Support forecasting and demand planning.
Business Development
Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.
Evaluate new products and technologies.
Assist management in developing long-term business strategies.
